Vietnam visa requirement for Virgin British Islanders
British Virgin Island passport holders need apply for Vietnam visa before going to Vietnam. If you want to visit Vietnam or visiting friends and family, you need to apply for Vietnam Tourist visa. If you want to work or doing business in Vietnam, you need to apply for Vietnam business visa. The business visa also let you work and travel.
You can apply for 1, 3 months tourist visa or 6 months business visa with single or multiple entries. Single visa means you only allow to entry the country once, no matter how long your visa have left, as soon as you leave the country you cannot return again unless you apply for another visa. Multiple entries visa allow you to exit the country for another country and then come back in again.

2. Apply for getting Vietnam visa on arrival
Vietnam visa on arrival also called Vietnam evisa is the online visa system which has been issuing by Vietnam Immigration since 2003. Vietnam evisa includes tourist and business evisa with single and multiple entries. Visa applicants can apply for a maximum of 6 months periods and it can be extended one more time when they were in Vietnam.
Visa applicants need an email address and an internet connection is needed to communicate with the officers. Once their application has been approved, immigration officers will send a visa approval letter to applier to inform. Normal process is about 1 to 2 working days. In the rush cases, people can apply for 8 hours, 4 hours or 2 hours process with a bit extra fee.
