We winder if Cocos Islander need a visa for visiting Vietnam or not ?
Cocos Islands passport holders are required for visa to Vietnam. You can apply for Vietnam tourist or business visas depends on your purpose of visiting Vietnam.
If you attempt to go to Vietnam for travelling, visiting family or friends, you can apply for tourist visa. Vietnam tourist visa is able for 1 month, 3 months or 6 months periods.
If you try to go to Vietnam to work or doing business, you will have to apply for business visas. Vietnam business visa also issues for 1 month, 3 months or 6 months.
You can apply for Vietnam visas through Vietnam embassy system or Vietnam Immigration Department.
How to get Vietnam visa in Cocos (Keeling) Islands?
There are 2 ways for you to get a Vietnam visa:
1. Apply for your Vietnam visa in a Vietnam Embassy / Consulate:
Since there is no Vietnam representative office in Cocos (Keeling) Islands at the present, you can check other countries to find the nearest Vietnam Embassy / Consulate to contact.
