Step 1: Get the Vietnam business visa sponsorship letter

The sponsor company in Vietnam will apply for Vietnam business visa sponsorship letter (also known as Vietnam business visa invitation letter, business visa approval letter, or Vietnam entry permit) with the Vietnam Immigration Department. The documents are:

  • Australian passport
  • Certified copy of Business registration of the sponsor company
  • Form NA2
  • Form NA16
  • other documents as required.

This process will take around 5 – 7 working days since receipt of full required documents by the Immigration.

If the application is approved, the Immigration Department of Vietnam will:

  • issue the sponsorship letter to the sponsor company, and also
  • fax a letter for business visa stamping to the registered office of Vietnam embassy in Australia

Step 2: Australian Prepare documents for Vietnam business visa stamping

The sponsor company will send the invitation letter obtained in step 1 to Australian applicants. They need to print it out, and put it with other required documents, including but not limited to:

  • a completed Vietnam visa application form,
  • Australian original passport,
  • photos,
  • visa fee for visa stamp

Step 3: Get Business visa stamp for Australian

After your visa approval letter is approved, it will be faxed to Vietnamese embassy in Australia. Australian applicants need to come to the embassy and submit these above documents.

3.2/ Getting Vietnam business visa on arrival for Australian 2025

Its process is as follows:

Step 1: Get the Vietnam business visa sponsorship letter for Australian

The sponsor in Vietnam will get the business visa sponsorship letter from the Vietnam Immigration Department and send it to Australian applicant.

Step 2: Prepare documents for business visa stamping

Australian businessmen will need to prepare:

  • print of your visa sponsorship letter,
  • a completed Vietnam visa application form,
  • Australian original passport, and
  • photos, and
  • visa stamping fee, which is: 25USD for single entry or 50USD for multiple entry

Australia is among 82 countries which can apply Vietnam e-visa for business purpose. However, Vietnam business e-visa is good for 30 days in single entry only, and it cannot be extended without leaving Vietnam.
