Answer: Yes, you still need to apply a visa for your trip. You will be free of visa if your flight is direct flight to Phu Quoc. In case your flight is connected through any other Vietnamese airport, you have to do the Immigration Check, and then transfer to domestic gate in order to continue the domestic flight to Phu Quoc. At the time you do the Immigration Check, you must have a visa.
