What Luggage and Documents You Need To Prepare For Quarantine In Vietnam?

According to the regulations of Vietnam Immigration Department and Vietnam Ministry of Health, all foreigners entering Vietnam for working purpose must be isolated for 15 days now. During quarantine at the property, you are not allowed out of the room. Therefore, the careful preparation of materials and luggage is very important.

1/ What documents need to be prepared to be allowed for quarantine when entering Vietnam

According to the regulations of Vietnam disease control center, a foreigner who enters Vietnam needs to provide all of the following documents for quarantine at the hotel when entering Vietnam:

• Entry permit issued by the provincial / city people’s committee
• Visa approval letter issued by Immigration Department
• Hotel booking
• Confirm transportation from airport to hotel
• Quarantine plan registration

2/ What things should be prepared during the 15-day quarantine period in Vietnam

According to current regulations, foreigners entering Vietnam will have to be isolated for 15 days 15 nights from the date of entry. During the quarantine period, you will be served 3 meals per day, and provided with all the essential materials in the room such as drinking water, hotel equipment, etc. However, due to the quarantine time is relatively long, you need to carefully prepare personal items and entertainment materials to help you feel at ease.

• Need to bring full clothes, personal items. Children 5-15 years old, the elderly, pregnant women, people with chronic diseases, need to bring medicine, milk, old glasses, food according to their own diet or their own sickness.
• Need to bring headsets, phones, personal computers with pre-loaded music videos, movies, exercise instruction clips etc. for entertainment during isolation (prepare fully charged items). Children can bring books, comics, toys, etc.
• Smoking addicts can request a smoking room, and bring some cigarettes during quarantine. You can smoke at the window or balcony in the hotel room.
• You can also bring some candies, some food to suit your taste, in case you don’t like the meals provided by the hotel.

In addition, all quarantined hotels in Vietnam provide delivery services. You can ask relatives, colleagues, etc. from the outside to send you some necessary supplies, food, and drinks when you need them.
