After receiving your e-visa, you need to check your personal information to make sure there are no errors. On the day of entry, you just need to print this electronic visa and enter Vietnam.
Australia currently has both Vietnamese embassy and consulates, however due to the geographical location and complex procedures, when the Vietnamese e-visa has not been listed, the on-arrival visa is the best choice.
Visa on arrival is the type of visa received at the airport when you come to Vietnam. Step 5: Receive a visa at the airport: After landing at Vietnam airport, you come to the “visa on arrival” counter and submit documents to the customs officer. Documents include: Passport, approval letter, two 3×4 cm photos, visa application form (taken at the airport). After receiving your application, the customs officer will check and collect your visa fee in cash (USD 25 for one-time entry and USD 50 for multiple entry). You need to prepare this amount in advance in USD or VND before coming to Vietnam. Then, the customs officer will paste the visa onto your passport. At this time, you have officially got a visa and are allowed to enter Vietnam.
