Cam Ranh airport is just opened again to welcome international tourists after Covid-19 pandemic. Vietnam government decided to lift all travel restrictions in Cam Ranh airport and allowed the foreign tourists to enter again after Covid-19 is well controlled. However, during the Coronavirus outbreak, Cam Ranh airport only opens for domestic routes and limited international commercial routes. Foreign tourists cannot fly to Cam Ranh airport from March 2020.
With good control of Covid-19 pandemic, Vietnam now allows the foreign tourists to enter again through Cam Ranh airport. All international tourists who have negative Covid-19 testing and valid tourist visa can book the air ticket to Nha Trang city now. The Covid-19 testing must be done 3-5 days before entry date, and in some specific cases, this document can be replaced by vaccination certificate or immunity passport.

Vietnam now offers electronic visa for citizens of 80 countries and 2 territories. If you are in the eligible list, you can apply electronic visa. Vietnam electronic visa is also allowed you to enter Vietnam through Cam Ranh airport. It is single entry visa and valid for 30 days only.
c/ Apply Vietnam visa on arrival
Visa on arrival is available at 7 international airports in Vietnam, included Cam Ranh airport. All you need to do is applying a visa approval letter online before the entry date, and then use this letter to get visa stamp at Cam Ranh airport when you arrive. Visa on arrival can give you 1 month or 3 months of stay, with single or multiple entry.
