However, with situation of the nCovid-19 epidemic spread worldwide, the Vietnamese government decided to stop this unilateral visa exemption policy for most of the countries on the list.

And on March 9, 2020, Vietnam officially suspended the visa exemption policy for citizens of 8 countries from Europe, including the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark.
As such, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish passport holders traveling to Vietnam will have to apply for a visa, not exempt from the visa as before.
