The Vietnamese government has revised the list of countries that are eligible for this visa since it first began issuing them as part of a trial program on February 1, 2017. Those Spanish nationals who meet the aforementioned criteria can apply for an electronic visa to Vietnam. The three phases for Spanish citizens are as follows.
First, visit https://www.vietnamimmigration.com/apply-vietnam-visa/ and fill out their online application for a Vietnam Electronic Visa. Recent images taken without glasses are required, and all information on the data page of the passport must be legible.
Step 2: Obtain the application code and pay the visa fee using your credit/debit card. Step 3: If your visa application is successful, you will receive an email with further instructions. You can enter Vietnam with your printed E-visa.
A Spanish speaker should expect to wait three (03) business days for their Vietnam e-visa to be processed. Applicants who need their Vietnam e-visas expedited might pay an extra fee for speedy processing. Spanish speakers can use the expedited option to get their visas granted for Vietnam in as little as one business day.
An electronic visa for Vietnam will be delivered to the applicant through email as a portable document format (PDF) file when the processing period has elapsed. Spanish nationals should double-check their E-visa approvals for accuracy. Holders with valid Spanish passports can enter Vietnam by simply presenting their printed E-visa and passport at the airport. No further proof of identity is needed.
