Vietnam Government has decided to abrogate the travel restriction and allowed the international tourists to apply visa again now.
Vietnam Government decided to issue tourist visa again for international tourists to recover the tourism industry from today. All travel bans are repealed, and foreign visitors can enter Vietnam for travelling as before.
As we know, Vietnam closed the borders for all tourists from March 2020 due to Covid-19. With the complicated situation of Coronavirus outbreak, many countries issue travel bans for international tourists, included Vietnam. Vietnam has implemented many strong solutions to take safety as priority, so foreign nationals are not allowed to enter in that period.
Luckily, with good control for Covid-19, Vietnam government now decided to repeal the travel bans, and allowed visitors to apply tourist visa again. Vietnam visa issuance procedures will be more complicated as before, but it’s not too difficult to get. You only need to prove yourself is negative with Coronavirus, or have vaccine passport or immunity passport, and fill out the visa application form at https://www.vietnamimmigration.com/apply-vietnam-visa/ , visa will be sent to your email after approved.
Vietnam government re-approves for tourist visa application, for both electronic visa and visa on arrival. Foreign tourists can apply visa online, and get visa before coming to Vietnam, or obtain visa at Vietnamese airports after arrival. The health declaration must be filled out before arrival day.
