1/ What Czech citizens need for a Vietnam holiday visa in 2025

2/ How to apply for a holiday visa to Vietnam if you are a Czech citizen in 2025
If you are from the Czech Republic and want to go on vacation to Vietnam, you can do so in one of the following ways:
So far, there are three ways for Czechs to get a Vietnam holiday visa: E-visa online, Visa on Arrival, and visa at the Vietnam Embassy or Consulate.
2.1/ Czech citizens can get an E-visa for a trip to Vietnam online
The Czech Republic is one of 80 countries that can get a Vietnam E-visa online. This type of visa will only be good for one entry and up to 30 days.
Czech citizens need to visit https://www.vietnamimmigration.com/apply-vietnam-visa/ to start a new application for a Vietnam holiday E-visa.
Then, follow the instructions on the visa application form and send the visa online: Czech citizens must fill out an online application form, attach their passport and photo, pay the E-visa fee, and then wait for their visa to be processed (three days for normal process and 1 working day for urgent process).
When the Czech applicant’s Vietnam holiday E-visa is approved, it will be sent to his or her email. When they go to Vietnam, Czech tourists need to print out their E-visa and show it to the immigration officers.
2.2/ Getting a holiday visa for Vietnam When Czech citizens arrive
People from the Czech Republic can also apply for a Vietnam Visa when they get there. Visas on arrival are only given at the following airports: Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City, Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, Danang airport in Da Nang city, Cat Bi airport in Hai Phong, Cam Ranh airport in Nha Trang, Phu Quoc airport on Phu Quoc island.

Then, Czech tourists will get an email with their Visa Approval Letter, which they can print out and show to Immigration Officers at the airport where visas are given out.
2.3/ How Czechs can get a holiday visa for Vietnam at Vietnamese embassies or consulates
People who want to get a visa in person before coming to Vietnam can do so by going to a Vietnamese embassy or consulate to fill out an application. The visa you get at a Vietnamese embassy or consulate is the same as the one you get online.
